INVITATIONS GALORE!

Here's a sneak peek at some of my most recent stationery designs, and each client was a pleasure to work with! More to come to soon.

HELLO 2013!

Ideas That Jel is out of hibernation! Stay tuned for new work and a brand spanking new website.

In the mean time, check out my most recent project. I had the pleasure of working with Bride, Miranda Rothrock on her Save the Date. The rest of her whimsical invitation suite is soon to come!

KOLOPHON

Kolophon, commonly referred to as a printers trademark inspired this design. My "kolophon" became layering imagery and patterns through out this monthly periodical. Because kolophon is an older term, I felt the magazine should have a retro flare and a hint of modern style.

VOTE POSTER

This poster is raising voter awareness by bringing attention to the irony of Hitler's rein. Not voting could unfortunately put the population at risk for another rein of a poisonous leader. This piece won an AIGA Honorable mention.

ECO COCO

Eco Coco is a chocolate company that dedicates its proceeds to tropical rainforest. The company strives to be green. All used paper is recycled, and all chocolate, and fruits are in its purest form.

THE COVEN: WICCAN CUISINE

The Coven is a self authored project. The assignment stemmed from the word enchanted, and spiraled into the concept of an upscale restaurant for Wiccans. Wiccans are witches that have beliefs tied to nature. Their culture relies on seasons, symbols, and food that is related to both. The Coven is a collection of witches and it fit perfect for the name of the restaurant. I created 4 menus based on the seasons, and collateral that could be used for their everyday spells.

SEEMS PERFECT: A COLLECTION OF TEN MINUTE PLAYS

Seems Perfect is a self authored project. The project is a collection of 5 handpicked and bizarre 10 minute plays. I designed patterns and illustrations for each play according to the theme.

FESTA DI ROMA

Festa Di Roma is annual event held at Tyler School of Art about studying abroad in Rome. The idea for this "culture blind" was the concept that someone would attend the meeting because he/she did not have knowledge about italian culture. From here stemmed the idea for the color blind test, in red and green of course. This poster was selected to represent the even in 2010.

KARIM RASHID CATALOG

This project is a product catalog for the modern designer Karim Rashid. His work is very unique and colorful so I wanted to capture that in the essence of his work through my design. Karim's signature became an inspiration for the project and I decided to incorporate his sketches into the piece. The concept  is that his ideas are coming to life in the catalog.

BODY ART

Body Art is an annual festival held in the summer. The festival celebrates the beauty of the naked body and painting. Body art is a free loving whimsical event. When approaching this project I aimed to capture the essence of the festival by using bold colors and brush strokes. I created the Body Art logo, poster, tri-fold brochure, tickets, and packaging. When researching this project I stumbled across the image of the woman pictured below, she embodies the spirit of the festival and became my muse for the style and design of the project.
